A bit about me
Born and raised in Israel till the age of 10, my parents decided to move to NY, which I got to appreciate and love as a teenager and a young adult. Experiencing a new part of the world at such an early age was a culture shock but also made me realize there's an entire world out there filled with different types of people, foods, tastes, traditions, religions, habits and behaviors.
I think I was always a natural born classic case of the extrovert, people lover, outgoing, social interactive individual, but it was clear to everyone that met me that the natural love which sparked my existence and fueled everything I did - was my love for music! I grew up in a home that was filled with music no matter what day, what hour, what circumstance, we danced. I loved dancing, I wanted to play every musical instrument ever invented, and even if I didn't have the patience to actually learn by traditional methods, I knew I was blessed with a musical ear and rhythm. So like every teenager in the 90's, we formed an all girl rock band. We weren't very good but we had a blast. But then I met some friends who DJ'd and that was it - love at first sight. An entire world opened up, a world of mixing tracks and matching beats, a wold of house and electronic music. That led me into the club scene in NYC, where we would dance all night till the next afternoon. It was a magical time and some of my favorite memories are of that era.
Even while going to college for marketing, I still didn't know what I wanted to do, so I tried everything from bartending to cosmetology and ended up joining an entertainment company as a dancer. With the years, I ended up as a Sales Executive / Event Manager / Talent Agent which summed up 3 decades.
Somewhere in between personal relationships, heartbreaks and many years of trying to find myself and my place in the world, I finally met my husband, fell in love, got married and had two amazing kids. The day will come where I will write a book on family and my personal journey.

In recent years, I started feeling what some may label as a "mid-life" crisis (I hate that term) I personally would rather express it as a type of a wake up call that screamed "hey, the days are moving fast, have you done everything you wanted to do? are you living every day as in your dreams? do you have any regrets? cause if you do...maybe it's time to do something about it...now! I realized there is more I want to experience and maybe it is time I stop with the excuses of why I'm not living my absolute dream! I also realized that my hobbies turned into deep passions of which I feel the need to explore further and even share. So here I am learning, trying things out, doing, sharing, connecting and following my heart. I really hope you enjoy it with me, wether it's a healthy recipe, a new set I just recorded or a blog of my crazy thoughts and feelings on a topic you can relate to.
I promised myself as I promise to you to be honest and genuine, even on the most sensitive of issues.
Thank you for visiting and I hope to connect with you more...
